Job Summary
We are interviewing for a bookkeeping position in our Orem location. This position performs tasks related to accounting and bookkeeping, including maintaining multiple clients’ financial records using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Essential Job Functions
1. Assists in transaction entry, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end procedures, year-end procedures, financial reporting
2. Assists in controlling batch numbers and check stock
3. Checks figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes
4. Classifies, records, and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, or software accounting system.
5. Receives, records, and deposits cash, checks and vouchers
6. Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
7. Compiles statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables of cash, receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
8. Reconciles or notes and reports discrepancies found in records

Qualifications:

- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Possess a strong ability to work in a team environment and be able to apply a solid understanding of accounting principles as they relate to individual client assignments.
