Health care deductibles are rising much faster than workers’ pay

Employees face an average health insurance deductible of more than $1,300 for an individual plan, up from $900 five years ago, according to a new survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation. Put another way, deductibles have increased more than six times faster than workers’ earnings during that time span.
