US posts 1.5% economic growth for Q3

Gross domestic product rose an annualized 1.5% in the third quarter, after climbing 3.9% in Q2, according to the Commerce Department. Economists expect growth to accelerate this quarter, attributing Q3’s slowdown to a temporary glut in inventory.
