US analyzes Swiss bank data in hunt for tax evaders

Thousands of Swiss bank accounts held by US taxpayers are being studied as the US Justice Department searches for people who have concealed assets to evade taxation. The department is mostly comparing data obtained from 80 Swiss banks under a limited-amnesty program with information taxpayers have reported to the IRS.
