Some low-wage employees pass on employer-sponsored health plans

Relatively few employees in restaurant, retail, hospitality and other low-wage industries have enrolled in employer-sponsored health insurance plans, brokers and business owners say. Data from payroll processor ADP indicates the income level at which most eligible workers sign up for health insurance is $45,000 a year.
