Judge issues injunction against overtime rule

US District Judge Amos Mazzant has issued a preliminary injunction blocking implementation of a rule that would have expanded overtime eligibility to those making less than $47,476 per year. The judge wrote that the Labor Department couldn’t decide which workers are eligible for overtime based only on salary levels.
