Economists Cut U.S. Growth Forecasts as Wholesale Stock Growth Disappoints

Economists are paring their third-quarter growth estimates for the U.S. economy after a report that the nation’s wholesale inventories rose only 0.1% in July for the smallest gain in a year. The number fell far short of the forecast 0.5%.
