US stock markets continue to rally

A rally that swept through Wall Street drove the Dow Jones industrial average, the Standard & Poor’s 500 index and the Nasdaq up more than 2% Thursday, handing equity investors their largest two-day gain since 2009. Traders got back their appetite for stocks after the release of encouraging data about the US economy and growing speculation that the Federal Reserve won’t raise interest rates at its mid-September meeting.
