Squire Announces Leadership Appointments to Support Future Growth

We’re excited to share a significant leadership update that reflects our firm’s momentum, forward-thinking strategy, and commitment to serving our clients better than ever.

As of May 1, 2025, Squire welcomed a new chapter of leadership across all three of our core practice areas: audit, tax, and advisory. These changes aren’t just about shifting titles, they’re about building on the strength of what’s already working, while ensuring we’re equipped to meet the complex needs of a modern business environment.

Meet the New Practice Leaders

We’re proud to announce that:

  • Doug Wilkins will step into the role of Tax Practice Leader

Each of these individuals brings not only deep technical expertise but also a passion for leadership and a strong track record of client service. They’re stepping into roles previously held by three outstanding professionals—Amanda Barrett-Brough, Brandon Allfrey, and Reuben Cook—who helped guide the firm through an important period of growth over the past six years. Their contributions laid the foundation for what’s next, and we’re incredibly grateful for their continued presence and support during this transition.

New Executive Roles to Power What’s Next

But that’s not all. As we grow, we’re also thinking bigger about how we organize ourselves at the top—and that’s led to the creation of two brand-new executive roles that will help us scale smartly and sustainably.

  • Reuben Cook has been named Squire’s first-ever Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Reuben is no stranger to Squire—he’s been with the firm for 18 years and has always had a knack for forward-thinking. In this new role, he’ll lead the firm’s strategic transformation initiatives, focusing on modernizing services, integrating emerging technologies, and reimagining how Squire delivers value to its clients.
  • Jared Rohatinsky joins the firm as our first Chief Operating Officer (COO). He brings extensive experience in operations and process improvement. In his role, he will work with leadership across the firm to build scalable systems, improve and maintain efficiency, and support the execution of strategic initiatives.

“Both of these roles represent an exciting shift—not just in structure but also in mindset. We’re doubling down on innovation, operational excellence, and future readiness,” said Jonyce Bullock, CEO of Squire.

What This Means for Our Clients

You might be wondering: how will this impact you? In short, it means even more support, sharper insights, and a team that’s constantly evolving to meet your needs.

We’re still the same Squire you know and trust—only now, we’re equipped with even more resources and vision to help you succeed. Whether you’re looking for audit expertise, strategic advisory, or help navigating complex tax challenges, our updated leadership team is here to guide you with the same personalized service and proactive thinking you’ve come to expect.

Alongside our recent growth into the Southeast, these leadership transitions reflect Squire’s continued momentum and vision for the future. We’re excited about where we’re headed, and we’re even more excited to bring our clients and partners along with us.
