Greece Fails to Form Government and Plans June Election

Greece was unable to form a coalition government, prompting an election in June. There is a strong possibility that leftists determined to reject an EU rescue will sweep to victory. The prospect reverberated throughout the eurozone: The euro fell, yields on Italian and Spanish bonds topped a dangerous 6%, and investors ran for safety in German government debt.
