Tim Christensen
Tim holds BS and Master of Accountancy/Tax degrees from Brigham Young University. He has been a licensed CPA since 1983. In 2000, Tim received his Personal Financial Specialist credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was one of the first six in the state of Utah to receive this designation. This designation is the CPA version of the CFP and is awarded to those who have demonstrated the ability through a written exam and years of experience to assist clients with their financial planning needs. Tim was licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative in 2000.

Tim began his career at Squire & Company, PC in
1981 and became a shareholder in 1986. One year later, he became
head of the firm’s tax practice. In this role, Tim has advised
businesses and individual clients in successfully planning and
managing their tax strategies. He also developed a third party
administration service (TPA) within the firm to assist clients in
the administering their retirement plans. Tim’s emphasis in
investments began with the formation of Squire Investment Management
Company, LLC in 2000.
