Joe's accounting career began when he went to work as the head accountant for a concrete company
while attending college. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he went to work for a
national CPA firm in San Diego. Upon returning to Utah he co-founded Squire & Company with his
father in 1973. His primary responsibility has been in managing large audits of construction,
distribution, and manufacturing companies.
Joe has been active in professional and community organizations, and currently is a member of
Utah State University's Advisory Committee and also serves as an officer of Robert Morris
Association, an association of commercial bankers. In addition, he is a member of the Utah
Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants.
